Leacan - the national 14-19 network

LEACAN 14+ Ltd is the national network for staff in local authorities which provides the platform for professional development through the exchange of knowledge and expertise, within the network and beyond, in the pursuit of improving the learning experiences and outcomes for all young people aged 14-19.
 
Membership of LEACAN provides access to unrivalled development and networking opportunities, influential communication channels and professional support. It provides members with a voice to influence government policy and decision makers at the highest levels.
 
Our members
We are a charitable membership organisation. Our members are education inspectors, advisers, officers and designated consultants employed by Local Authorities in strategic roles with a specific remit for 14-19 planning and development. We also co opt Professional and Associate members. Members represent 80% of the local authorities in England including representatives from the British Services, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
